ALEX GRAZIANO

...Alex grew up playing football and loving music; he only listened to his favourite bands like : the mythical Queen and magical R.e.m.. What could amaze you is to find out that his musical way, as a listener, has also known unthinkable genres very different from the “rock style”: from Dance music to Hardcore and Techno!!
Anyway these experiences, lasted some years, have influenced a lot his present technical and musical point of view. It’s a relief to think that those moments are far from me now!! In the last years I have made different attempts for some projects with local bands and I attended school of Modern Song for a period of 8 months; this experience has been very important form me, to learn the basic techniques for singing. His “musical adventure” starts in summer 2003 with the performance at the “Summer Party” where he sings with his first band (composed by his 4 friends) some songs of R.e.m., Red Hot and Radiohead.
In summers 2004, a new band, a new experience called "ESCAPE 2 HOME". A project that included the sound of Blur, Radiohead, and Muse, but ended very soon.
In March 2005 he finally met his future group members setting up a band: The Chimps.
After various disappointments he now intends to take forward a precise plan: follow the sound of indie- rock bands like Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, The Strokes, and try to work on their own songs. The biography stops here….stressing that the main dream is to have the chance to enrich and to write it on a book is superfluous!!

ANDREA GARRO

He was born in December 1985. He approached rock after he discovered musicality of the “Queen” band. He was affascinated by the style of Bryan May therefore he approached music to discover a new passion. At 9 years old his musical experience started joining the town band, where he played the soprano flugelhorn and the baritone. Afterwards he dedicated his study to the piano, but stopped after a few months to play the guitar as autodidact.
The first band is like “first love”, it’s impossible to forget: infact Andrea still remembers his first live performance with Guttalax band, that suggested a punk rock repertory in various local gatherings. By chance he entered The Chimps band which needed another guitarist, since the singer can’t play the guitar. At the beginning he had some difficulties approaching a new kind of music but in short time he was able to adapt and became enthusiastic about this “new” music.

ALESSANDRO PICCIONE

He was born in Syracuse on March 25th 1988. Thanks to his mother he’s been keen on all different types of music: from J.S. Bach and Antonio Vivaldi to disco music from the 70’s and 80’s. His father, very keen on 70’s rock music, invited him to listen to bands like Deep Purple, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Creedence, Dire Straits and some famous guitarists like Eric Clapton, B.B.King e John Lee Hooker. Alessandro liked very much dance music and everything that concerns a Dj’s work; in fact when he was only 9 years old he started mixing music with his stereo. This interest still persists today together with his passion for vinyl. It was by chance that he realized that the musical instrument more appropriate for him was the guitar. After a first period during which Alessandro studies as auto-didact with his father’s guitar, for a long time his parents are very reticent about his new passion. The only one to believe in him is his brother Andrea that bought him a guitar. Since then Alessandro took guitar lessons from Valeriano Adorno.
Following he induced his brother to buy an electric bass and to take lessons from his teacher. He also attended the “Music Tek” school with Partexano and joined the “Red Lemon” band, proposing Italian and foreign rock songs. After this first experience Alessandro joined “The Syntesis” project, a melodic rock band and with them he performed for the first time live. For a long time he was keen on blues and liked the Italian singer Alex Britti. In the meantime Alessandro began studying music with Riccardo Mancarella. In March 2005 he met Alex Graziano, that introduced him to indie rock together with its different shades. From then on the challenge with Crop Circle band started.

GIUSEPPE CARBONARO

He was born in Catania on the 21th of February 1992. Since he was just a child he showed a special feeling with rhythm and the sound of drums. Thanks to his father he moves his first steps towards music, from “pots and pans” of the kitchen he takes lessons to learn play the drums. During one of his lessons he draw the attention of Lucio Augello, Enzo Augello's father (a well known drummer). This meeting took him to a more professional study of the drums. He then began to attend Enzo Augello's drums school and this teacher still follows Giuseppe with special attention. His passion for rock music starts listening to Pink Floyd and others modern music bands. Giuseppe often takes training courses for the drums with important musicians like Ellade Baldini, Max Furia and Maurizio De Lorenzetti. He begins playing his drums with The Chimps band thanks to Andrea Piccione, the bassist of the band. His real talent is the natural way of playing the drums despite his youth.
